Our office GONZÁLEZ ABOGADOS represented the neighboring community of Loma del Esmeraldal, Envigado, in a popular action before the Administrative Court of Antioquia, in which Paloma González Villafañe is the plaintiff, and the Municipality of Envigado and others are defendants.
In this popular action, a first instance judgment was issued in which the violation of the collective rights to the realization of constructions, buildings and urban developments respecting the legal provisions, in an orderly manner and giving precedence to the benefit of quality of life, and the enjoyment of a healthy environment by the MUNICIPALITY OF ENVIGADO was declared.
This popular action was promoted with a view to protecting the environment and stopping uncontrolled construction in the area.
The second instance of the process is currently underway and, at the same time, we are taking the necessary actions to demand compliance with the first instance ruling.
